Please keep in mind that although English is the main language in this group, since we are still working on the "critical mass" for many languages, most participants won't necessarily be native speakers.

I am based in Tokyo and work both as a newscaster for public radio and as an African airline advisor.

My long term goal is to help empowering people in rural Africa, Nepal and other countries, based on the Blue Economy's guidelines. Not being an investor yet, nor a (professional) scientist, nor an entrepreneur per se, I see myself at this time as a facilitator.

I listened to a recent Dr. Pauli's lecture at temple University in Tokyo. Being a skeptic, I was very critical of most "solutions" put forward by dreamers and not rooted in solid science, nor taking into account perverse effects (more than one step ahead). The Blue Economy concept was the answer to what I had hoped for and I see it also an opportunity to build a community of like-thinkers and entrepreneurs.
